11 Healthy Plant-Based Snacks to Help You Stay on Track

The holidays are upon us, and with that comes the temptation to indulge in unhealthy eating. While you might tell yourself “it’s just a few weeks, then I’ll get back on track,” the fact is you’ll find it harder to get back on track, and those indulgences will quickly stack up. You can save yourself a ton of regret (not to mention a few pounds) by having healthy snacks on hand to curb your appetite.

Here are some delicious ideas:

Something Crunchy

1. Endurance Crackers

Crisp and crunchy, these delightful snack crackers are chock full of healthy nuts and seeds. You can experiment with different additions – including spices and herbs – to change up the flavor.

2. Superfood Trail Mix

Filling and healthy, this is a perfect on-the-go snack or one for movie night. Again, this is a recipe that can be altered to suit your tastes. It’s packed with raw nuts and seeds and superfood heroes like goji berries and pumpkin seeds.

3. Salt and Vinegar Chickpeas

Super easy to prepare, delicious and healthy, chickpeas are a great replacement for savory snacks like chips. You can add different spices if salt and vinegar isn’t your thing: like chili, curry, garlic, etc.

Something Savory

4. Quinoa Tabbouleh

Nothing is more satisfying than a nice healthy salad – this one is simple and delicious and full of antioxidants. Make a big batch so you can have it ready in the fridge for when hunger pangs hit.

5. Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower Popcorn

An easy snack that’s great for the office, school, or on the road. If you’re a savory lover, then this is the snack for you. You have the option to make a dehydrated version or to bake it. Delicious!

6. Sweet Potato Hummus

Take your typical hummus to the next level with the addition of sweet potato. This recipe includes a variety of spices to keep your taste buds happy. Enjoy it with raw veggies.

Something Sweet

7. No Bake Peanut Butter Crisp Balls

This easy snack is filling and you can feel free to make a few batches and freeze them for later.

8. Frozen Grapes

Here’s an easy treat – no recipe required! Keep them on hand in the freezer for when you want a sweet bite.

9. Chocolate Hummus

Wait…what? If you didn’t know this existed until now, you’re welcome! Paired with some strawberries and apple slices, this healthy snack will satisfy any sweet tooth.

10. Banana Oat Protein Balls

Three ingredients and great for post-workout recovery, these little guys may just be a lifesaver when it comes to staying on your plant-based stint. The recipe can be made with any flavor of our Plant Power Protein Powder for a custom made snack.

11. Plant Power Protein Bars

Don’t leave home without one! Our Plant Power protein bars have 15g of organic plant protein to help you feel full and are available in 4 delicious flavors. For a heartier snack, pair a bar with half of a piece of fruit and a tablespoon of nut butter. Find the bars at Target and here.

As with any snack, a little goes a long way. By indulging in healthy, plant-based snacks you can stay on track this holiday season, but still enjoy yourself!
