Order Questions

Q: When will I receive my order?

A: It depends on when you place your order. All orders are delivered on Fridays. When you are ready to place an order, you will see a note indicating which Friday your order will arrive. If you’ve already placed your order, please refer to your order confirmation email to see which Friday your order is arriving.

Our cut-off for weekly orders is Wednesday at 11:59 PM EST. So if you’d like your order to arrive by Friday of the following week, you will have to place your order by 11:59pm EST Wednesday the week before. Orders placed after the Wednesday cut-off will arrive the following Friday.

Q: I have an allergy to certain foods, what options are there?

A: Our dishes are created without common allergens like dairy, soy and gluten, but meals include a variety of grains, beans, vegetables, fruits, nuts, spice and herbs. Each week, we create a menu of dishes that is sent to all of our customers, so if you have a specific allergy, we cannot create a custom menu or meals for you.

Q: How much is shipping?

A: All meals are shipped via FedEx 2-day delivery. Shipping is just $20 per week. If you sign up for a 22-Day Plan, you’ll only pay for your first 2 deliveries and your 3rd delivery is free.

Q: How does Auto Ship work?

A: If you enroll in Auto Ship, not only will you save 5% off of every order, you’ll also get your meals delivered every week so you never have to worry about placing your order. You can pause, skip or cancel your meals at any time as long as you make changes before 11:59 PM on Wednesdays one week before your delivery. You can make changes by logging into your account or giving us a call at 1-800-822-9080, Monday-Friday 9-5 EST.

Note: because we prepare for our fresh meals 10 days in advance, you will need to receive your first 2 weeks of Auto Ship meals before you can pause or cancel. If you do not know if you would like to receive the meals for the first 2 weeks, we suggest you sign up for One Time Delivery. You can always switch to Auto Ship in the future.

Q: How do I get in touch with customer service?

A: Give us a call at 800-822-9080. We’re here to answer your calls 9AM - 5PM ET, Monday-Friday. You can also send us an email to info@22daysnutrition.com and one of our team members will get back to you right away.

Q: Why do I have 2 charges before my first delivery?

If you have (2) charges on different days, this is likely due to your order being a recurring order. Due to the prior week cut-off date, you will actually be billed 4 days (the Monday) before your first delivery (on Friday). This ensures that you receive meals the Friday after your first Friday delivery date. If you were billed twice on the same day, please call us at 800-822-9080 as that is likely an error.

Q: What is your refund policy?

Once you place your order, our team gets to work on planning out your meals. Because we source locally grown ingredients, we need to start the planning phase 10 days before your order arrives on your doorstep. With that in mind, here is some more information on our refund policy:

Cancel 10 days before your delivery: If you cancel before our cut-off date (read more here), we’re happy to refund you the total amount of your order.

Cancel less than 10 days before your delivery: Once it’s past 10 days before your order, we cannot cancel, change or refund your order.  

Once you’ve received your order, we cannot refund your purchase.

Delivery Questions

Q: Do you deliver to my area?

A: We deliver to anywhere in the continental United States.

Q: How will my meals arrive?

A: All of your meals are freshly prepared, then sealed for freshness and placed in a biodegradable insulated cooler along with frozen gel packs. It will arrive via FedEx before 5 PM on Fridays.

Q: What should I do with my box once it arrives?

A: Unpack all of your meals and place them into your refrigerator. If you don’t plan to eat some of the meals before the expiration date, you may place it into your freezer to enjoy in the future, but note that the texture of some food may be affected (it will still taste delicious!)

Q: What should I do with the packaging materials?

A: All of our packaging is fully reusable and/or recyclable.

Coolers: Reuse, donate or recycle. The coolers are made a recyclable product known as EPS. Check with your local community to ensure that they accept #6 plastics to recycle. Otherwise, look into recycle.com for local options of where to recycle. Alternatively, donate or reuse.

Gel packs: Gel packs are reusable. Pop them in the freezer to use again or donate them (schools, churches and shelters are often in need of them).

Food containers: Once you’ve enjoyed your meal, rinse out the container and recycle.

Q: What should I do if I’m going on vacation?

A: Not a problem! We understand that everyone takes vacations from time to time. You can pause your delivery as long as you do it by Wednesday at 11:59 PM the week prior to your delivery.

As another option, if you’d like to receive your meals while you are on vacation, just let us know by Wednesday at 11:59 PM the week prior to your delivery. As long as you’ll be in the continental United States, we can ship your meals to you.

You can make changes by logging into your account or giving us a call at 1-800-822-9080, Monday-Friday 9-5 EST.

Any changes to your order must be complete before 11:59 PM on Wednesday, on the week before your order is delivered. After that, you order cannot be changed, paused or canceled.

Q: What if I need to skip a day or week?

A: You can easily make updates to your order by logging into your account. Just remember that we work one week ahead of orders. So be sure to make changes before the end of the Wednesday (11:59 PM EST) before the following week’s order.

Q: What if I want to cancel my plan?

A: We hope you won’t! But if you need to, you can do so by logging into your account and canceling future deliveries. You can also call us at 800-822-9080 to cancel your account.

Please keep in mind that we work one week ahead for orders. That means that if you cancel before Wednesday at 11:59 PM EST, you will still receive one more order before your deliveries stop. If you cancel after Wednesday, you will receive two more orders.

Our Vegan Meals

Q: Can kids eat the meals too?

Not only are the meals from our Vegan Meal Delivery perfectly safe for kids, but our children enjoy them as well! Depending on the age of your child, you may want to split the meal to create a smaller portion. As with any dietary modifications, we recommend that you check with your physician or primary health care provider first.

Q: How does the 22-Day Plan work?

A: If you choose 22-Day Plan, you’ll receive 22 days of freshly prepared meals

You’ll pay for all 22 days of meals at checkout, but you’ll receive your meals in 3 consecutive Friday deliveries. The first two deliveries will contain 7 days of meals and the last delivery will have 8 days of meals. Bonus: you’ll only pay for shipping on the first 2 deliveries – your 3rd delivery is free!

Because of the special low price of our 22-Day Plan, they are not eligible for the 5% Autoship discount.

Q: Do you ship outside of the United States?

Currently, we only ship our vegan meals to the continental United States.

Good news though! We do ship our bars, protein powders and 22 Days Vegan Challenge Kit internationally. Just send us an email with your complete mailing address and what you’d like to order and we’ll provide you with a shipping quote. Send your request to info@22daysnutrition.com.

Q: Can you tell me more about the nutritional content of your meals?

Our breakfast meals range in calories from about 250-400 and lunch/dinner meals range about 400-600 calories. Each meal is balanced to give you an appropriate amount of protein, fiber and fat while staying low in salt and sugar.

All of the dishes were developed by our Founder Marco Borges to focus on providing your body with healthy proportions of energizing, whole-food plant-based meals.

Q: Do the meals contain preservatives?

Our meals do not contain preservatives but are properly sealed to protect them from air so that they arrive fresh at your home.

Q: What kind of meals can I expect?

A: All of our meals are homemade by professional plant-based chefs that are passionate about creating dishes with the finest organic ingredients. Your meals will be a perfect balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat with limited salt and sugar – and are 100% delicious! Expect a variety of beans, vegetables, grains (quinoa is a favorite!), nuts, seeds and delectable herbs and spices.

Our meals are inspired by dishes from all over the world so your taste buds never get tired of the same old flavors. Since variety is the spice of life, you won’t see the same meal twice in a month.

All of the meals are 100% organic, non-GMO, plant-based / vegan, and gluten-free.

Q: Are your meals gluten-free?

A: Yes, they are. All of our meals are 100% gluten-free. And you won’t find “gluten-free” alternatives in our meals (things like potato starch or tapioca flour). Instead, we focus on real, clean whole foods that naturally are gluten-free. We find that this is a more digestible and satisfying way to avoid gluten.

Q: Are your meals soy-free?

A: Yes, they are. Although some people following a plant-based diet do eat soy as a protein source, we find that many people have allergies to soy, so we have made all of our meals soy-free.

Q: Are your meals organic?

A: Yes, they are prepared using the freshest 100% Organic ingredients. And that also means that every meal is Non-GMO which makes us happy!

Q: How should I prepare my meals?

A: We believe that mealtime should be a time to slow down and focus on one thing – eating. We suggest that you take your meal out of the container and heat it on the stovetop, an oven or toaster oven. Once warmed through to desired temperature, plate your meal and sit down to enjoy it. We are big advocates of mindful eating, so really take the time to pay attention to what you’re eating and noticing when you are full.

Of course, you can microwave a meal in its container in a pinch (instructions are on the packaging and the plastic is BPA-free) but we would still love to see you plate the meal and sit down to enjoy it. Bon appétit!

Q: How many calories are in your meals?

A: One of our goals at 22 Days Nutrition is to get you out of the mindset of calorie counting and into the mindset of “what is healthy for me?” If your focus is on eating clean, healthy plant-based meals, you will notice that you feel completely satisfied after a meal and that your body weight will return to a weight that is good for you. This may mean losing some weight, staying the same weight or in some cases gaining weight.

All of our meals are designed to be a perfect balance of nutrients including vitamins, minerals and antioxidants so that you finish your meal feeling satiated and energized. Our goal is to deliver meals to you that boost your metabolism and leave you feeling alive!

With that being said, if you are still interested in the nutritional content, you’ll find that it is included on the package of each meal.

Q: Am I getting enough protein from your meals?

A: Yes! There is a common myth that you cannot get enough protein from a vegan diet. In reality, eating a variety of beans, nuts, seeds and grains will give your body the protein it needs to keep energy levels up and build and keep muscle tone. Many people don’t realize that every food contains a bit of protein (even vegetables and fruit), so when you eat a healthy, balanced plant-based diet (like our meals) you’ll be getting protein from every vegetable, nut, seed and grain in each meal.

Q: What does the weekly menu look like?

A: Your meals will be a perfect balance of protein, carbohydrates and fat with limited salt and sugar – and are 100% delicious! Expect a variety of beans, vegetables, grains (quinoa is a favorite!), nuts, seeds and delectable herbs and spices.

Q: Can I enjoy the meals if I am pregnant/breastfeeding?

A: Please consult your physician before beginning any new diet. We can tell you that our breakfast meals range in calories from about 250-400 and lunch/dinner meals range about 400-600 calories.
